| Bend so you can break. Stretch so you can squeeze. Bleed so you can heal. Laugh so you can weep.
Love so you can hate. Choke so you can speak. Fall so you can walk. Toil so you can play.
Remember so you can forget. Hold your breath so you can breathe. Empty so you can overflow. Cling tight so you can set free.
Submit so you can conquer. Dream so you can have. Follow so you can lead. Fly so you can land.
Die so you can live. Doubt so you can prove. Stop so you can go. Win so you can lose.
Fear so you can live confidently. Capture so you can release. Wander so you can go home. Compromise so you can
Stand so you can jump. Plant so you can weed. Open so you can close. Listen so you can see.
Learn so you can teach. Teach so you can learn. Hide so you can seek. Wake so you can sleep.

| Sing me a song Of memories to come When promises become more than a dream Paint me a masterpiece of that time suspended moment When by love's virgin kiss two pure hearts were bound together Write me a poem of years spent When love was true an all consuming fire Tell me a story of eternity forever When with out dying breath another promise is fulfilled | | |
| Many tounges, troubles tell Many eyes, tears held Many hands, folded tight Many hearts, defeated fight His tounge, answers all His eyes, watch in awe His hands, tears dry His heart, victory buys ____________________________ I wrote this poem this summer during a prayer meeting I visited while teaching a Bible club. Seeing all the church people pray to God was really moving. 6-6-07 | | |
| Lord, I am beautiful. You told me so tonight. Snuggled up beside me and whispered in my ear. I couldn’t quite believe you. My reflection disagreed. I tried to pull away yet you beckoned me. You said I’m captivating and nothing can compare to the beauty of my heart that came from suffering. The seed of suffering was planted long ago. It grew into my heart, you said and made an empty hole. A hole is nothing lovely. I’m ugly deep inside. Still you call me beautiful and call me to your side. The hole was meant for love, You said, gazing back at me. Love that comes from me alone that cultivates true beauty. Now I understand I’m beautiful. You created me that way. Beauty comes from God alone. Beauty is not seen. ______________________________________ God has been teaching me a great deal about love, marriage and what it means to be a woman created by Him. Women have a desire to be loved and to be beautiful. Yet God made it so that no man (even a woman's husband) could fill that need. I'm not saying husbands cannot make their wives happy so they should give up. I am saying God is the only one who can COMPLETLY fill a woman's heart. The desire to be found lovely and to be loved is designed by God to bring women back to God. Husbands complement , God completes. This is a hard concept to explain in text.. but I think I've covered the jest of it. ~Rachel | | |
| Things are changing, rearranging, making room for you. You are yearning, discerning, coming near to truth. Truth is kneeling, revealing, moving trust to youth. Youth are waiting, creating, feelings that are new. News is coming, proclaiming, crying out proof. Proof is aiding, persuading, trading doubts for you. | | |
